The Euro–uRapid is an excellent possibility to get concentrated information about the state–of–the–art of Rapid Technologies. Achieving new perspectives and socialize with process engineers and users of different application areas is essential for technology which develops rapidly. This provides the Euro–uRapid in a perfect way.

I really liked the lectures whose main focus lied on process comparisons. Equally important are the fundamental research orientated lectures, because particularly for metals a lot of enhancements are possible. A big Plus of the Euro–uRapid is the pleasant ambience, which provides the possibility to professional conversations during the breaks and the evening program. This resulted for me in new contacts, which I would never be able to make by internet research. For me I can say without a doubt: next year I will be back!

It is the first time that I've been to this conference and I have to say: a very nice conference! Nike is always trying to make a connection between high tech applications and post processing in order to see how that can be translated to products. And this point is really nice represented at the conference.

For us it is much more long–term because we are not doing medical devices and we are talking not only about some parts but about million parts at very low costs. It is a way for us to see the future. Design freedom is also interesting for us, less restrictions for manufacturing for design and it also doing is for the possibility to have a better product. I would absolutely recommend the conference.

Well, I was invited to come instead of my colleagues from Rolls–Royce Deutschland and I am very glad that I came. I found it very useful. I hope my lecture transmitted the future needs of the aerospace industry to system providers. I was very impressed of the work of the Fraunhofer Institutes, I think they are working on a high standard.

A lot of the speakers gave a clear overview of the possible application areas and techniques and the current issues of the day is been given. I would totally recommend the Euro–uRapid.

I also would like to thank the interpreters for the good work!

Thumbs up for the Euro-uRapid! I have already visited the Euro-uRapid2005 in Leipzig. Again the domain for users is well covered on the Euro-uRapid2007. Despite the fact that not all industry areas can have the same quantity of user experience, I would appreciate a yet greater variety of participating industries besides the established high-tech user industries. This supports the complex communication. Naturally Rapid Manufacturing takes over a big role. But for the future Pre– and Post-Processing should not be disregarded.

My impression is that the Euro–uRapid is a very interesting event, because it is dedicated to the user's point of view. A dialogue between users and industry is created which is also a big advantage of the conference. An exchange of experiences is also a big plus of the Euro–uRapid2007. For me as a researcher it is also interesting to come here and get to know the users needs better.

The one thing I would like to suggest is that the proceedings should be completely in English so it is easier for the international visitors to understand. All in all it was a really nice conference.

The event was very good and so my impression is very positive. A lot of things were explained which I am interested in. The state–of–the–art was given very well and also future prospects of techniques.

I could also socialize with interesting persons. For me the atmosphere was really special this year, because of a smaller number of participants. It was also an advantage for me that I did not have to chose between different parallel sessions.
